There are ten skills Langan teaches but one skill I found important is how to manage your time. I
learned that the syllabus is the key to succeeded in any class. Without the syllabus you won't be able
to organize your work or plan out other details. For example you have a test but didn't time it out so
now you're 5 minutes to taking the test and you don't know anything about what will be in it but with the syllabus you could have known beforehand. Also keep a calendar and write down everything that is in the stall us so you will be ready with your supplies in all your classes. Keeping a calendar helps you find out what you have to do each day and what days you can rest. The last thing I learned in this chapter is that make a to do list and write down everything you have to do.For me I would do it on the most important fast to the least so that I won't forget anything. This chapter helped me manage my time and it can help others also.It can help people not forget what they have to do and keeps them updated.
The second skill I learned that I found important is to take notes. I found this one very important because people would copy other people's notes but they have their own style of taking notes so you will be confuse. This is bad since you wouldn't the able to learn that way so instead take your own notes by always going to class and taking notes."When in doubt, write it down" this is a good thing because even if you think you know something chances are you might forget so write it down and keep it in a safe place.( Langan 90).The good thing about taking is that sometimes in class you can use them in test so even if you forget something you can always go back to your notes and be ready to ace that test. After this chapter I learned that taking notes is one of the first things you should do in any class and with taking notes you take in something more than just listening to a lecture.
Although my dog may seem big and crazy at first once you get to meet him he's a fluff ball full of joy and kindness. That's why I choose to make him my act of kindness since he always greets everyone with a hug and kiss.

What's UP JoLo?

Your dog is so cute! Is he a Husky or a Malamute? I'm sure he sheds all over your house!
